My time with Ablewell began when the company formed in 2012. Starting as Area Manager, progressing to Contracts Manager and now Care Manager. I achieved registration with the Care Quality Commission in December 2018.
During my time here I have had the opportunity to complete several qualifications. This includes the Level 2 Health and safety in the work place, Level 3 NVQ in Management, Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Heath and Social Care. I have also completed train the trainer qualifications in Moving and Handling and Medication. I use this to train the frontline staff. In addition I personally keep up to date with all mandatory training for care workers to allow me to support the frontline staff practically.
I deliver hands on care and support. It is rewarding to know that I make a difference to peoples lives, supporting them to stay at home for longer.
Continuous improvement of the service that we deliver is important to me, as well as the on-going development of staff.
