The past eighteen months have taken us all through some worrying times. Aside from health concerns, many have been faced with financial struggles due to redundancy, furlough and reduced hours. Ablewell Care Workers have continued to work, with maintained hours and stable earnings, whilst supporting the vulnerable to stay at home. Through adapted ways of working, and respect for each other, our team has achieved a zero-infection transmission rate throughout the pandemic.
As a result of this stability, we are in a strong position to continue providing the high quality, responsive service that we are known for. We are now looking to provide people with transferable skills, with the opportunity of a rewarding and secure role.
If you have worked in retail, or hospitality for example, you’ll have gained valuable communication skills, as well as experience in organisation and customer service.
From September, we have positions vacant which offer fully funded training and qualifications up to level 4 in Adult Care. We are also encouraging individuals to consider their career path and are investing time and training to reward enthusiasm and interest, in developing chosen areas of specialism to an advanced level.
Positions currently vacant are based in the Congleton, Holmes Chapel and Macclesfield areas, and we are looking for people with interest in the specialist areas of Dementia, Safeguarding and Diet & Hydration.
Average earnings are £22,000 plus expenses. All training is provided and paid for, inclusive of your time.
If you feel that you can offer your skills and care to our communities, please contact us for more information about how we can support you to do so.
