In October 2014, I joined the company as a Community Support Worker, and have enjoyed progressing within the company as a Lead Carer before becoming Senior Support Worker and into my current role as HR Manager.
My personal aim is to make sure that I continue to personally deliver the care that our customers deserve and to support the frontline staff to do so also by using the Mum test.
I have throughout my time with Ablewell studied and completed varies qualifications and to date hold, Level 2 in employment responsibilities and rights in health and social care, Level 3 Award in Education and Training, Care Certificate Assessors Award, Level 3 Health and Social Care, I also hold certification in Emergency First Aid at work, and do keep ahead with all mandatory training.
I am keen to mentor staff and I enjoy promoting the fair and consistent treatment of staff at all levels, particularly those who may need a little extra support.
The reward on a daily basis for me, is to make a difference to customers and staff, and ensuring that the service is effective and compliant. Seeing people happy is my greatest reward overall.
